Frequently Asked Questions
What does Keilly Nannies do?
Keilly Nannies is a nanny placement agency. We act as an introducer, matching families with carefully vetted nannies based on experience, compatibility, and household needs. We do not employ nannies directly.
Are the nannies vetted?
Yes. All candidates undergo a thorough vetting process before being considered for placement. This includes identity checks, right-to-work verification, Garda Vetting (or DBS where applicable), reference checks, and an interview.
Who employs the nanny?
The family is the employer of the nanny. Keilly Nannies facilitates the introduction and supports the placement process but does not act as the employer.
Do you offer ongoing support after placement?
Yes. We remain available to support both families and nannies throughout the placement period to help ensure a smooth and successful working relationship.
What areas do you serve?
We work with families and candidates across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
What types of childcare roles do you offer?
We place full-time, part-time, live-in, travel, newborn, and special needs nannies, depending on family requirements and candidate experience.
How long does the placement process take?
Timeframes vary depending on the role and availability of suitable candidates. During your consultation, we will provide a realistic estimate based on your specific needs.
What are your fees?
Our fees reflect the time, care, and expertise involved in sourcing, vetting, and matching high-quality candidates. Fees are discussed transparently during the initial consultation.
What happens if the placement does not work out?
Our aim is to create long-term, successful placements. In the event of an issue, we encourage families to contact us promptly so we can offer guidance and support in line with our terms and conditions.
Do you place nannies with experience supporting children with additional needs?
Yes. We work with candidates who have relevant experience supporting children with additional or special needs and place them thoughtfully based on suitability.
How do I begin the process?
Simply contact us to arrange an initial consultation. We will discuss your family’s needs and guide you through the next steps.
